This was a big one. Edina Country Club has a stunning Bluestone patio that's been there for 25 years - and after a quarter century of Minnesota winters, it needed serious attention. Bluestone is a beautiful material, but it doesn't get easier with age if it's not properly maintained. Shifting, settling, worn joints - it all adds up over time.

Hardscape restoration on a surface this size takes more than just patching a few problem spots. We worked across the entire patio, addressing the joints and the surface methodically. The goal with a job like this isn't just cosmetic - it's structural. Proper joint work keeps the stones stable, prevents water from getting underneath, and extends the life of the whole surface significantly.

Bluestone is a natural material, which means every slab is a little different. That's actually what makes it so good-looking, but it also means you have to respect it during restoration. You can't rush it. Getting the jointing material worked in correctly and swept clean across a surface this large takes a crew that knows what they're doing and is willing to put in the time to do it right.

We take a lot of pride in this kind of work. There's something satisfying about taking a hardscape that's been through decades of use and weather and getting it back to where it should be. A well-restored Bluestone patio like this one doesn't just look better - it functions better and holds up longer. That's the whole point of hardscape restoration done properly.

Places like Edina Country Club are a reminder of why quality materials are worth protecting. A patio that's been there 25 years has real value - you don't tear it out and start over if restoration is an option. We're glad this one got the attention it deserved.
